Weingarten:

23-year-old vines grow on Opok soils.

“Opok” is a solidified sedimentary rock, formed by sea and river deposits.

The soil has a high clay content, can store heat well and offers the grapes optimal ripening conditions.

Vinification:

3 weeks mash fermentation, storage in wooden barrels. Bottling: 2020
