Description

Thirsch-Wines:

Weingarten:

15-30 year old vines grow on Opok soils.

“Opok” is a solidified sedimentary rock, formed by sea and river deposits.

The soil has a high clay content, can store heat well and offers the grapes optimal ripening conditions.

Vinification:

3-6 hours of maceration, fermented in stainless steel tanks at 21-23°C, aged for 20 months on the fine lees. Bottling in September 2021.

OrganicWine:

Spicy, ripe Sauvignon Blanc.
